A DATE has been set for a Leytonstone pub’s appeal against a decision to close it down following complaints of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Lincoln's in Leytonstone High Road had its license revoked by a council after undercover police investigators were offered drugs in the pub and residents living nearby said customers were disruptive.
The pub's operations manager, Jerry Nyoni, said the complaints were motivated by racism rather than solid evidence.
The hearing will take place at Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court over three days on March 30 and 31 and will finish on April 1.
