OFFICERS are asking for residents' help to identify a man who died after falling from a footbridge in Leyton.
The man, described as white European and aged between 20 and 35 years, fell on to the A12 from High Road shortly before 6.35pm on January 4.
He was taken to hospital but died two days later.
The unknown man is described as being of slim build, with short dark hair.
He head tattoos on both arms, one of a tiger's head on his upper right arm and a heart on his lower left arm among others.
He was wearing black Reebok trainers, dark blue tracksuit bottoms, a dark hooded top with a white logo on it, another hooded style top, which was black, and a dark zip up cardigan.
The death is not considered suspicious.
A post-mortem has not yet taken place.
