POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was stabbed in broad daylight in South Woodford.
The youngster, who was slashed by the junction of Albert Road and Chigwell Road near South Woodford station, was rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital where he received treatment for a minor wound to his armpit.
Police say they do not know the motive for the "unprovoked" attack, which happened last Friday (January 9) at around 3.40pm.
The suspect is described as a black male teenager, who was wearing a blue jacket, woolly hat and carrying a black Nike drawstring bag at the time.
