A FAMILY say their pet dog has been suffering from depression ever since its companion pooch was stolen at Christmas.

It has now been one month since the Ott family had their two rare pet miniature pinchsers stolen from their Woodford Green home.

After a widespread appeal, one of the animals, two-year-old Enzo, was found in Debden, but one-year-old Minx has yet to be found.

Her continuing absence is devastating the family and Enzo alike.

Danielle Ott, who owns the dogs along with her sisters Maddison and Darcey, said: "Enzo is suffering from depression. He will not move outside the house and cries every time we leave him on his own.

"We have sent posters out to every registered vet in the UK, putting ad after ad on the internet everyday and sticking posters up everywhere possible. I just don’t know what more we can do.

"I thought it would get easier, as they say time heels, but for us it has got harder for me and my family.

"I think it’s the not knowing that is killing us the most."
