PRECOCIOUS youngsters are being reminded to apply for a £1,500 grant to kick-start their burgeoning careers.
Anyone aged 13 to 25, who can demonstrate an outstanding sporting or artistic talent, is eligible for funding from Epping Forest District Council.
Last year, Somalia Seaton used the arts bursary to support her theatre productions at the National Student Drama Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, while Nichola Miles bought equipment to help her complete her college studies and gain a place on a graphic design course at university.
Jim Lewis was awarded the sports bursary and purchased a bespoke bike to help him train for the 2012 Olympics.
The deadline for applications is Friday, January 30, and interviews will be held in mid-February.
