A CRACKDOWN on fly-tipping, graffiti, litter and dog-fouling has been launched.
The council has promised to 'blitz' streets and public spaces, and help residents, schools and comunity groups help tackle the problem.
Council leader Cllr Clyde Loakes said: “We don’t want to just clean up our streets – we want to take them back altogether. Every single person living here wants Waltham Forest to be a better place, but the council can’t do it on its own.
“Absolutely everyone has a role to play, whether it’s parents making sure their kids don’t become litterbugs or people letting us know as soon as fly-tipping appears. We’re going to be working harder than ever to keep our end of the bargain and we hope that residents do too.”
