A BANK worker is hoping to give up her day job after winning through to the final of prestigious modelling competition.
Francesca Stephens, of Spring Grove, Loughton, has beaten off competition from thousands of entrants to become one of the 35 beauties who will compete for the coveted title of Miss Top Model UK at London's Porchester Hall on March 27.
The 24-year-old personal assistant says she would love to follow in the footsteps of her hero Kate Moss if she lands a career-making contract with the Impact Model Management agency.
The former Roding Valley High School pupil says she was wracked with nerves when she was asked to parade in front of judges in only high heels and swimwear at a semi-final in December.
But she says it was all worth it when she found out she had made the final where she will take to the catwalk in couture, evening wear, and burlesque outfits in a show which feature on Fashion TV later this year.
She said: "It has all been a real eye-opener but it has strengthened my resolve to have a career in the industry so I can pursue my passion for fashion and travelling."
In addition to the main title, Francesca is also in with a chance of winning the Public Text Vote, in which all profits go towards breast cancer fundraising. Votes cost £1 per plus standard network charges. To vote for Francesca text ‘MODEL 16’ to 88010.
