MUSIC, dancing, crafts, sports and more will transform the streets of western Redbridge again this year, when the second-ever Woodford Festival is held.
Following the success of the event last year, organisers voted overwhelming in favour of continuing it this week.
Planning for the festival is already underway, with a special folk show, art and history lectures, concerts and a big ballroom dance all booked.
The date for the festival has been set to run between Saturday October 3 and Saturday October 11.
One of the organisers, Anny Wortley-Millek, said: "This year's festival promises to be even bigger and better than the one last year.
"A lot of associations, clubs and groups are signing up to take part in what is fast becoming an important local event and it is great to see how many people are eager to get involved, freely giving their time, talents and resources."
If you would like to help the festival, its next committe meeting is at the Redbridge Drama Centre, Churchfields in South Woodford on Monday April 27 at 7.30pm.
