SHOPPERS were stunned when a trio of green leprechauns danced into a supermarket today in Waltham Abbey.
But on closer inspection relieved members of the public realised it was actually three workers at the Co-Op, who had donned their costumes to help celebrate St Patrick's Day - and to raise money for the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID).
Workers Lyn Square, Sharon Greenough and store manager Steve Savery all dressed up, selling cakes and hosting a raffle for shoppers.
