A LEYTON man was fined £175 after he was caught kerb crawling in Tottenham during a police operation sting.
Akwas Addai, 47, of Kings Close, Leyton, admitted soliciting a person from a vehicle for the purposes of prostitution.
A total of 24 other men were charged with a variety of offences as a result of Operation Fangtooth, a police crackdown which ran in Tottenham for four days.
Concerned residents contacted their local Safer Neighbourhood Teams(SNT) about anti-social behaviour caused by prostitution which led to the operation.
Addai was ordered to pay £100 fine, £60 costs and a £15 surcharge at Tottenham Communtiy Justice Court on Tuesday.
