A MAN has been arrested following a stabbing in broad daylight.
Marcus Smith, 34, of Lea Bridge Road, was charged with grievous bodily harm, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon after the incident, which took place in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton at about 2pm on April 2.
He appeared at Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on April 3 and has been remanded in custody, to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on June 10.
The victim, a 32-year-old man, was taken to hospital, but was discharged later the same day.
