A 16-year-old boy accused of murdering a teenager from Leyton appeared at the Old Bailey today.
Michael Wright, 17, often known by his middle name Simon, was found stabbed in Leytonstone Road, opposite Maryland railway station on February 19.
He died later that evening in hospital.
The teenager accused of his murder, who cannot be named because of his age, was remanded in custody for a plea and case management hearing on May 5.
