A WOODFORD GREEN man has helped organise a night of music and fun to raise money for an African charity.
Neil Arora, of Princes Avenue, hopes the event - tomorrow (Thursday) evening at the Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel - will generate more than £5,000 to pay for new water pumps for the village of Chembe in Malawi.
Tickets for Sound and Vision cost £12.50 - or £7 with a valid NUS card - with the event due to run from 8pm until 3am.
Other people involved in organised the evening - which will feature a number of Indie bands - are: Alex McHardy from Woodford and Craig Buckingham and Kayode Akinola from Chigwell.
