LEYTONSTONE teenage hotshot Danielle Carter looks set to miss out on the next Women's Under-17 European Football Championships.
England were defeated twice within 48-hours meaning they are unlikely to qualify for the final stages of the championships in June.
The three lionesses were beaten 2-0 by Spain in Belgium on Sunday (April 5) evening before losing 1-0 to the Czech Republic two days later.
England did manage to salvage some pride by drawing 1-1 with Belgium on Friday, April 10.
Danielle Carter, 15, played a starring role in the team's performances during the under-17 women's world cup helping them reach the fourth place in the competition held in New Zealand in November.
She made headlines across New Zealand after scoring twice against Brazil in the first round, one of the competition's favourites.
Miss Carter also remained cool under pressure when converting a penalty in a tense shoot out victory over Japan in the quarter finals.
She currently trains at the Leyton Orient Girls' Centre of Excellence.
