A NEW service to help people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health conditions or those living in care will be launched in the borough on Monday.
The Waltham Forest Outcome Based Home Care Service, will consist of dedicated staff helping to give 800 vulnerable people greater independence and flexibility in their lives.
This could be anything from learning a new skill, to setting up a direct debit or providing respite for families who have disabled children.
The partnership, consists of Allied Healthcare, Housing 21 and Leonard Cheshire Disability and will be working in conjunction with the council and Primary Care Trust.
