Heavy traffic on the A406 in Redbridge
THERE are big traffic delays across Redbridge and Waltham Forest this morning after a traffic light fault.
There are reports that poor phasing of the temporary signals on Whipps Cross Road in Leytonstone is behind the problem, which has caused knock-on jams in Leytonstone, Wanstead and Woodford.
The Green Man and Gants Hill roundabouts have also been affected, and there are jams reported on many roads including the A123 Cranbrook Road, A1400 Woodford Avenue, Clarence Avenue and the North Circular.
