A TALENTED singer from Leytonstone has made it through to the area finals of a national music competition.
Sabrina Pratt, 19, of Ranelagh Road, auditioned for the Live and Unsigned contest and saw off competition from 10,000 other hoepfuls to make it to the regional finals.
She has now made it to the next round and is in with a chance to win a record contract with label Future Music and a spot on a UK tour.
A full-time R ‘n’ B singer, she has been performing in Waltham Forest since the age of 10 and has even travelled to America to sing.
Paul King, of Future Music, said: “We can really see those acts that have the commitment and fan base to be successful in the industry and for the acts involved it is a great opportunity to develop, improve and impress.”
Miss Pratt will perform at the area finals on May 12.
