A FIRE ripped through disused buildings in the early hours of Sunday morning.
About 40 firefighters and eight fire engines attended the blaze in Grange Park Road after being called at about 1am.
Firefighters led two people to safety and part of the first and second floors were damaged by the flames.
Crews from Leyton, Leytonstone, Homerton, Stratford and Plaistow fire stations attended and the blaze was under control by about 4.30am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
