FASHION designs by Waltham Forest College students were modelled as part of Alternative Fashion Week.
A total of 70 collections were shown at Spitalfields Market, near Liverpool Street, in East London.
Among the designs was a collection themed "the little black dress" by 12 pupils of Waltham Forest College, in Forest Road, Walthamstow.
Students used triangle, squares and other geometric shapes to produce an array of eye-catching garments.
It is the 10th year a collection by students at the college has been included in Alternative Fashion Week, which aims to allow designers to present their work directly to fashion industry executives.
Benita Odogwu-Atkinson, Waltham Forest College curriculum manager, said: "“I am really proud of the imaginative garments produced by our students and pleased that they are able to take part in this prestigious event as it gives them the opportunity to be really creative and have their work shown along side some of this country’s most promising professional designers.”
