THE annual Chigwell Village Fete is due to start next week with stalls, rides, and events for all the family.
As well as old favourites including a bouncy castle and hook-a-duck game this year there will also be a 7-metre climbing wall for older children all on Station Green opposite Brook Parade.
Stalls will include a face painter, cakes and plants, while arena displays are set to showcase a performance by the Essex Corps of Drums, and a Tai Chi session.
The event, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Chigwell and Roding will raise money for a number of charities.
It takes place bank holiday Monday (May 4) from 12pm to 4pm. Admission is free.
