ROALD Dahl fans can step into the author’s wonderful world when a splendiferous new touring exhibition celebrating his fantabulous partnership with illustrator Quentin Blake arrives at The Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood this week.
Visitors to Snozzcumbers and Frobscottle, which has been developed by Newcastle’s Seven Stories, The Centre for Children’s Books, can have plenty of fun with hands-on displays at the exhibition, which also offers the unique opportunity to look at some original manuscripts.
There’s also the chance to see some original illustrations by Quentin Blake, who brought to life no fewer that 18 of Roald Dahl’s tales and rhymes with his witty illustrations.
Snozzcumbers and Frobscottle runs from Saturday, May 2 until Sunday, September 6 in the Upper Galleries, V&A Museum of Childhood, Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green. Details: 020 8983 5200 or www.vam.ac.uk/moc (free)
