IT WAS an uphill battle for Sungate in the first half with Harold Hill's sloping pitch.

But the pressure applied by Robert Garvan and George Green forced Harold Hill to concede an early own goal.

Jeffrey Narweh and Sean Drennan's midfield inter-play led to a corner which Harry Culham crossed for Luke Finney to head home for 0-2.

Harold Hill fought their way back in the game and forced Sungate's goalie Reece Powell to make a diving save. But from the resultant corner Harold Hill hit the post before pouncing on the rebound for 1-2.

Tom Bain,Danny Hare and Paul Bryans kept things tight in defence for Sungate with Benson Simbule combining mazy runs with good covering defence.

In the second half, Sungate looked tired but continued to look for openings with Jeffrey Narweh and Harry Culham going close. Culham took another corner which Luke Finney struck into the roof of the net 1-3.

Alex Poyot and Damiano Shehu took over in attack. Damiano stuck a sound volley into the corner of the net but this was disallowed for offside. Jake indome played well in midfield and Luke Finney struck a half-volley for his hat trick and 1-4.

Harold Hill didn't give up and struck a goal from the right for 2-4. The Final Score.
