POLICE investigating a fatal collision with a cyclist need your help in finding a car, after two people from Chingford were arrested.
Jim Fleming, 47, was cycling along the A413 in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, on Wednesday, April 1, when he was hit from behind by a vehicle between 5.30am and 6.30am.
He died at the scene.
Police are looking for a blue Mercedes C220, with the registration number WR03 JYB.
A man and a woman, both in their thirties, have been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. They have been released on bail until June, when they will return to Amersham police station.
Sgt Martin Hooper, who is leading the investigation, said: "It has been a month now since Mr Fleming was tragically killed in this collision. We have had a dedicated team of officers working on this and we are making some good progress with the investigation.
"We urgently need to trace this vehicle in order for us to eliminate it from our inquiries. It may be parked in a street, in a car park, garage or lock-up. It may be covered with a tarpaulin. It may be in a vehicle repair garage or body shop.
"I would urge anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of this vehicle to contact us."
