CLOTHES retailer TK Maxx are offering a reward in attempt to catch violent masked robbers who targeted one of its stores.
Two men armed with knives and wearing ski masks entered the shop in Leyton Mills through a rear door and threatened two members of staff before locking them in two seperate rooms.
They then assaulted and threatened them and demanded the keys to a safe.
The robbers then escaped with cash through a fire exit.
TK Maxx are now offering a £7,500 reward for information which leads to the conviction of those responsible for the robbery, which took place at 8.30am on October 2008 last year.
Det Cons Abby Devgon said "This was clearly a pre planned operation and we would urge anyone with information to come forward and help us to track down the individuals responsible."
Anyone with information is asked to call Chingford Community Safety Unit on 8345 3146.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been bailed to return on May 26 pending further enquiries.
