WADDLING for a good cause was the order of the day for children at Braeside School’s Early Years Department.
Youngsters from the Buckhurst Hill High Road school enjoyed a walk around their local duck pond in aid of the Meningitis Trust.
The Toddle Waddle is an annual event to raise funds for the charity as well as an opportunity for the children to enjoy the outdoors.
Head of early years Anne Silk said: “Our pupils make regular educational visits in the locality and this was a perfect opportunity to combine a lesson outdoors with such an important cause. Thanks to our wonderfully supportive parents we were delighted to send a generous donation to the Meningitis Trust.”
