ROOMS in an Georgian mansion which have never been seen by the public will soon be open.
Visitors will be able to look around Copped Hall in Epping and the gardens on May 24 at a special open day.
An on-going restoration project has taken place at the mansion with parts of the building re-installed.
Stewards will be available on the day to offer help and information about it's history between 11am and 4pm.
The Copped Hall Trust has also arranged for the Felicitas Chamber Choir to perform an evening recital at the mansion on May 16 at 7.30pm.
They will sing capella music from the 16th and 17th centuries.
Tickets can be bought from Frances Dennett on 01992 610713 or f.dennett3@ntlworld.com.
Access to Copped Hall for both events will be via the Crown Hill entrance on the Upshire Road leading from the B1393.
There will be a small entry charge for the open day to support the restoration project.
