POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was savagely attacked at the weekend.
A 25-year-old Asian man was attacked in Primrose Ave, Chadwell Heath, by a number of assailants all wearing face masks or scarves at around midnight on Saturday.
A police spokeswoman said: "They were carrying metal poles or cricket bats. The victim escaped in his car and drove to Eastwood Road, he was then assaulted again at this location. "He was taken to hospital with a broken left arm and a cut to his ear. Police are appealing for witnesses to this incident."
