A SUMMER project to help rising stars into the music industry has started.
On Saturday the first session of Solomon Music Academy's 12-week Young People’s Project started at Harmony Hall, Truro Road, Walthamstow.
The academy provides disenfranchised youngsters an opportunity to prepare to enter the music industry even if they have no money to buy equipment or pay for tuition.
They work with young people from ages five to 19 years old, predominantly but not exclusively of Afro-Caribbean descent.
During the project there will be workshops in song writing, singing and dancing with the end of project talent show taking place on August 1.
To find out more about this project and how to take part contact the academy on 0796 035 0796.
