CELEBRITIES showed off their golfing skills to raise money for a local charity.
Stars including former England goalkeeper David Seaman attended the tournament at Brocket Hall Golf Club in Hertfordshire to support the Rhys Daniels Trust.
The charity, on Epping High Street, organised the event to raise money for their 'Home from Home' appeal, which provides families with somewhere comfortable to live when their child is being treated at hospital for a serious illness.
Supported by Sky Sports TV, the event will be screened in a one hour golf special on May 18.
Founder of the charity Barry Daniels said: "The day was a great success and the team from Farm Tyre Services in Chingford were the overall winners. The winning individual celebrity player on the day was Mark Bright."
An auction was held in the evening, helping to raise £17,000 for the appeal.
Barry and his wife Carmen set up the charity after their son Rhys, 8 died in 1998 after being diagnosed with Late Infantile Batten's Disease.
Their daughter Charly also lost her battle with the same disease just a few months later, aged 11-years-old.
The family was forced to move to Bristol while their children were undergoing treatment, and decided to use their own experience to raise money for other families in need of help.
