DOGS will be parading around a park in Waltham Abbey where this year's Companion Dog Show will be held.

Owners can enter their pets into different categories in the competition held on May 31 at the Town Mead Park on Brooker Road.

The show opens at 10am with judging starting at 11am for the pedigree class and 12pm for the obedience and novelty classes.

Entries cost £1.25 and money raised will go to the German Shepherd Rescue fund.

Dogs can be any breed other than Pit Bull Terriers, and puppies under six months are not eligible for the competition.
