THE City of London are pulling strings at half term with a series of puppet making workshops in Epping Forest.
To kick off National Family Week on Monday, May 25, the Temple in Wanstead Park will be hosting a Regency 'dancing dandy' puppet making session followed by a Punch and Judy show.
Wednesday, May 27, will offer children a chance to learn about freshwater habitats at the Visitor Centre in High Beach while making their own finger puppet pond creature, and Friday, May 26, will have a more regal feel.
To mark the 500th anniversary of when Henry VIII became king, visitors will be given the chance to learn more about his reign, make a pop-up puppet and see the type of puppet show the king would have enjoyed.
All events run from 1pm to 4pm.
