A VICIOUS teenager who raped an unconscious girl and permenantly scarred her with cigarette burns has been jailed indefinitely.
The 17-year-old attacked his 15-year-old victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, after luring her back to an Aldersbrook hotel.
Snaresbrook Crown Court heard the boy was told he would serve a minimum of four years in a young offenders' institution before a parole board could consider his release.
Judge Wendy Joseph sentencing him to imprisonment for public protection.
In a statement, the girl said she "hated looking at herself" after her attacker branded her with a cigarette and covered her in bites.
The 17-year-old first struck at the McCreadie Hotel, near Wanstead Park, on a date between September 24 and October 12, 2007.
He was convicted earlier this year of raping the girl on October 27 and assault occasioning actual bodily harm relating to the first incident.
The boy had previous convictions for making threats to kill to his sister-in-law and carrying two knives.
