REGARDING the article on page 24 of your paper (‘BEUNAS DIAS! Students take on Spanish capital’, Guardian, May 1).
I hope the A Level Spanish students mentioned do better in their exams than your paper’s headline.
Dias is a masculine noun despite ending in ‘as’.
Therefore it should be Beunos Dias, not Buenas Dias.
I hope the students do not copy you.
I think you should have checked, very bad!
