TWO teenagers were cut free from their car after colliding with a tree on Epping New Road in Loughton on Sunday, 17 May.
THE TWO, both aged 17, were cut free from the blue Peugeot 206 after it struck a tree, left the road and ended up in a ditch.
The teenage boy recieved head injuries and various scratches and his female companion was treated for wounds to her arm.
Two crews from Loughton and one from Harlow were called to the scene just after 21:30 to reports of a accident.
Ambulance crews estimated that the car was travelling at 60mph before striking the tree.
The two were released by 22:14 and were taken to Whipps Cross Hospital.
A spokesman for Essex police confirmed they will be investigating the incident.
