EIGHT months after the murder of a man at his home in Abridge, detectives are continuing their appeal for information.
Clive Enkel was 53 when he was attacked in his home on Alderwood Drive on Thursday, September 25, 2008 by a group of men, he died of his injuries in Queens Hospital Romford two days later.
Senior Investigating Officer, Det Supt Tracy Hawkings, said: "Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could give us the vital clue we need. I urge anybody who has anything which could help us give Clive's family the answers they desperately need to contact police or call Crimestoppers."
On Friday, May 22, 2009 officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) will be conducting high visibility patrols in conjunction with local trading standards officers. They will be handing out leaflets to local residents advising them about rogue traders and bogus callers, and encouraging people to join local neighbourhood watch schemes.

Neighbourhood officers will be in the Abridge area between 10am and 3pm on Friday, May 22, 2009.
Two men aged 19 and 38 are currently on police bail until June 10, 2009, having been arrested in connection with Clive Enkel's murder.
