JADE Goody's former best friend Kevin Adams could be opening the North Weald Race for Life in her memory.
The personal trainer has been approached by the event organisers after Jade lost her battle with cervical cancer aged 27 on Mother's Day.
Mr Adams has already shown his support for the Race for Life by donning a pair of skyscraper stiletto heels in a light-hearted tribute to the Big Brother star who lived in Upshire.
He was joined by actor Christopher Biggins in the walk of empathy through Regents Park, London.
He said: "Jade's passing has affected so many people and with so much needing to be done to beat cancer, Race for Life is a great way for all women to get involved and raise money to support the important work of Cancer Research UK.
"Although a group of men strapping on a pair of high heels is unconventional, it's a way of getting across a serious message in a funny way, and it's something Jade would have had a good giggle about."
A spokeswoman for the Epping Forest Race for Life said they were waiting for a response from Mr Adams to see if he was available to open the event on July 15 at North Weald Airfield.
