ENJOY a fantastic baroque choral workshop and performance accompanied by a full period orchestra.
Antonio Vivaldi’s famous Gloria and Giovanni Pergolesi’s stunning Magnificat will be the highlights of an exciting programme at St Mary's Church, South Woodford High Road, this Saturday.
Parish director of music Martin Seymour revealed young professional baroque chamber orchestra Spiritato feature several former pupils from Snaresbrook's Forest School.
He added: "The event is an enjoyable 'Come and Sing' workshop day open to anyone with basic music reading skills ending with an evening performance.
"It is not often singers get a chance to be accompanied by such a group in a church with such a beautiful acoustic."
The workshop runs from 10am to 5pm with a break for lunch. Course fee for the whole day £15 with the evening performance at 7.30pm Tickets cost £8/5 in advance, £10/7 on the door.
