CHILDREN and parents alike enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment at the Lloyd Park family fun day last Sunday.
Held in the park in Forest Road, Walthamstow, lots of visitors watched maypole dancers and entertainment from some Morris Dancers.
There was also face-painting, a bouncy castle, beat the goalie and sumo wrestling for children at the event organised by the Friends of Lloyd Park.
Snakey Sue brought along her reptiles from her sanctuary in Leyton and many children were brave enough to have a go handling the non-venomous snakes.
Chair of Friends of Lloyd Park, Adrian Stannard, said: "The support we received from local people was amazing. They braved the wind and rain to come and enjoy themselves in greater numbers than last year.
"The beer tent and Snakey Sue were great attractions but Donna Marie stole the show with her fabulous Maypole dancers.
A very big thank you to everyone that came and supported us and showed how we can enjoy our park.
