WALKERS from across the county took the the streets of Epping to raise cash to make youngsters dreams come true.
The 43- strong group travelled through five miles of idyllic Essex countryside on May 19, raising £430.
Organiser Avril Mills said that although the weather was poor spirits remained high.
She said: "It was definitely a bit of girl power in action. The weather was terrible, but everyone said what a good time they had, in fact we're thinking of doing it more than once a year because everyone had so much fun."
The Dream factory makes the wishes of terminally ill and disabled children come to reality, previous wishes have included trips abroad, celebrity meetings and helicopter flights.
For her next mission, Miss Mills is going to trek 70 km across the wilds of Jordan and needs help raising her £5,000 target.
