A GROUP of three cyclists from a Leyton shop are to take part in a charity bike ride.
Paul Eagle, Andy Williams and Anthony Reily, who all work at Cash Converters in High Road, Leyton, are to join 30 other staff from across the capital in the ride from London to Cambridge.
The cyclists, some of whom also work in the Walthamstow branch, are planning to ride about 60 miles in order to raise £5000 for children’s charity Dreams Come True.
The charity offers terminally and seriously ill children the chance to fulfil dreams such as swimming with dolphins or riding in a rally car. Gary Lewy, who owns the Leyton store, said: “It’s a very exciting challenge and a great opportunity for us all to get together as ‘Team Cash Converters’ to raise lots of money for this really worthwhile charity."
A total of about 4,000 cyclists will take part in the ride on July 26, which starts from Lea Valley Park and finishes at Midsummer Common in Cambridge.
