AMATEUR golfers in Epping Forest have the opportunity to pit their skills against the likes of Tiger Woods in a tournament that tees off in Chigwell.
Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club has been named as the venue for the South East qualifying stage of the Ronacrete People’s Open Golf Tournament.
The tournament is open to all amateur golfers over the age of 18, and the top performers will go through to compete in the finals at Turnberry where stars of the game including Tom Watson, Greg Norman, and Nick Price have all competed in the past.
The Woolston Manor stage takes place on Tuesday, August 4, and competitors will all play in a three-ball from the same tee.
