A MAN who killed a love rival by cutting his throat in the grounds of Whipps Cross University Hospital will be sentenced tomorrow.
Wei Ma, of no fixed abode, admitted repeatedly slashing Shong Ping Zheng, of Palmerston Road, Walthamstow, while he sat in a car on April 21 last year.
Ma waited until his victim had fastened his seatbelt so he could not escape the frenzied attack.
Passing hospital staff tried to save Mr Zheng but he died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ma was arrested in Leytonstone High Road and was taken to Chingford Police Station on Friday, April 25.
He was told to expect a life sentence when he appears at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
