A DAY of fun activities is due to be held to promote awareness of disabled children and young adults in the district.
The Community Awareness Festival, to be held at, Oak View School, in Whitehills Road, Loughton, will host music, dance, and art related activities throughout the day on Saturday, July 18.
Money raised from the event will be split between Oak View, which caters for children with special needs, and local charity the Dream Factory, which organises events for youngsters with life-threatening conditions or severe disabilities.
The day will run from 11am to 5pm with various stalls and therapies on offer.
Members of sportability will be there for more physical activities, and there will be an auction and raffle.
Anyone interested in hosting a stall for the day, or offering advertising or auction prizes is asked to call Ray Harris on 020 8502 3961.
