THE Mayor of London's Ambassador for Young People is to visit a Walthamstow training college.
James Cleverly, who was appointed earlier this year, will visit London Construction Training in Blackhorse Lane on June 8.
The college provides training in various trade specific skills, as well as aiming to teach social responsibility and education on drugs and alcohol.
A spokeswoman for London Construction Training said: “Many of the young people we deal with are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), at risk of exclusion and generally have not had the best start in life.
“Our job is to turn this around and we have a very high success rate. It will be great for these young people to see the ambassador for them taking an interest and also for him to see some of the success stories.”
