A POST mortem into the death of a rough sleeper who was found dead in Walthamstow town square has proved inconclusive.
A Selborne Walk shopping centre security guard found the body of the man in bushes close to the centre's entrance while chasing a suspected shoplifter shortly before noon on June 3.
The decomposed body was reportedly found on bedding and had been there for weeks.
An initial post mortem has failed to reveal how the man died and there will now be further tests and it could be weeks before the cause of death is known.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and police are treating the death as unexplained.
The deceased has yet to identified.
