A MAN was yesterday robbed at gunpoint in his own home.
The 28-year-old was entering his house in Hoe Street, near the junction with Daventry Avenue, when he was pushed from behind by a gang of robbers, who then forced their way into the building and locked the door behind them.
They punched him in the face and one of them put what the man believes was a handgun to his head while they stole cash and a mobile phone.
The terrified man managed to escape out of a window and ran along Hoe Street towards Queens Road.
But two of the robbers caught up with him, pushed him to the ground and then ran away along Queens Road.
The man was taken to hospital and treated for graze hands and bruising.
The robbery happened at about 4.30pm.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the robbers push the man in Queens Road.
The four robbers are all described as Asian and aged between 15 and 19 years old.
One was wearing a light grey t-shirt, black trousers and had a slight beard.
Another was wearing a black sleeveless t-shirt and black trousers while a third was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers.
