London's Ambassador for Young People James Cleverly has visited a Walthamstow training college.
Mr Cleverly, who was appointed earlier this year, visited London Construction Training in Blackhorse Lane today (Monday).
The college provides training in various trade specific skills, as well as aiming to teach social responsibility and education on drugs and alcohol.
A spokeswoman for London Construction Training said: “Many of the young people we deal with are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), at risk of exclusion and generally have not had the best start in life."
The college aims to help them turn their lives around by providing them with employment-related skills.
