A 52-year old woman from Epping will appear before magistrates in Harlow next Wednesday (June 17) charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving while unfit through drink.
Mrs Patricia Eustace, from Maple Springs, Waltham Abbey was killed on November 6 when she stepped outside for a cigarette outside the Merry Fiddlers Pub in Coopersale.
A Vauxhall Cavalier left the road and hit the building, Mrs Eustace was declared dead at the scene.
Her husband Brian, 81, to whom she had been married for 50 years said they had only gone to the pub by chance after a last minute change of plans.
She left behind one daughter and two grandchildren.
