PINK ladies entertained shoppers on Epping High Street to raise money for charity.
The volunteers from the Cancer Research shop dressed up for the day, and even persuaded their male colleague to wear pink.
Giving out sweets donated from the Humbug sweet shop, they managed to raise £400 for the charity, donated from passers by.
The shop has recently been plagued with bad luck after hundreds of pounds of their clothes were ruined from a flood, and a few months later someone destroyed designer items by slashing them with a knife.
Volunteer Gordy Turner said the event helped raise their spirits and bring in some much needed cash.
He added: "I think they all thought it was very funny that I dressed up in pink and we all had a good day. It seemed to cheer people up who were shopping and we managed to make some money for charity, which was obviously the most important thing."
