Students from Roding Valley High School used science, technology and languages to learn a bit more about our world during a special week of activities.
The different departments at the Alderton Hill School got together to create a range of activities for the students, including the mathmatics and ICT department turning themselves into an "airline company" and flying people round the world.
The Language departments invited a series of guests from Japan, Africa and Austria to talk about their cultures, languages and traditions.
Meanwhile, the creative arts department are focusing on south America, with students performing a range or music, dance and drama pieces based on traditional folklore.
Roding Valley Director of Arts Anna Wood said students enjoyed every minute of it.
She said: "This theme was chosen to support our bid for the international schools award and to help develop students greater understanding and awareness of global culture."
"The students have all been very excited about taking part."
